Glass is an amorphous solid. Glass is hard, brittle, sharp and must be handled with the utmost of care. It can be transparent, translucent, heat resistant, flexible, shatterproof, or photochromic. Working with glass is especially difficult to work with but the results can be breathtaking. I have been working with glass for the past three years and am always finding new inspiration as I explore the natural landscape of Wisconsin and beyond. Birds, trees, pastures, forests, water and sky are where my work tends to naturally explore. The beauty of the colors as the seasons change is inspiring. Working with glass has been rewarding, challenging, and is always enjoyable.
