Wyscok captures the spirit and beauty of landscape scenes through a unique fiber process, made of fine layers of primarily wool and silk fibers. The fibers are layered, blended and applied in directional strokes similar to painting. Silks and other fibers are included to enhance the image or texture. When complete the fibers are felted together using water and friction. Felting causes the fibers to blend and mat together and in the process the art is transformed. Fibers shrink, curl, and interact with other fibers to create truly unique art.
