Kinga Johnson is a painter who lives in Sun Prairie Wisconsin. Johnson is a stay at home mom, part-time CrossFit coach, part-time face painter. Johnson loves to paint, draw, doodle, and sew – she loves to try new mediums. Johnson loves scrolls and swirls, flower patterns. She always loved drawing them with pencils. Johnson grew up in Hungary during communism where she was not provided with brushes or paint – art was somewhat frowned upon as not necessary or useful. Johnson has reconnected with her love of art fairly recently - within the last few years. The beloved scrolls and swirls have come back to her again, Johnson especially loves alcohol ink and finds that it is magical, mesmerizing, almost uncontrollable and relaxing, the exact opposite of those perfectly placed swirls. Once the two are combined together, she finds the juxtaposition makes the perfect combination – where imperfections turn into something magical!
