Eileen Boomgaarden is a self-taught potter and fused glass artist originally from upstate New York. After nearly 20 years of teaching elementary school, traveling, and earning her MS in International Education, she married and settled down in Wisconsin. She works with stoneware clay, porcelain, and her own wild clay harvested by hand from her backyard, float glass and fusible glass. Combining raw materials with her drawing, painting and paper craft skills she creates beautiful, useful hand-made pieces of art for your home.
